The Bouncy Castle process when hiring a from Blackpool Bounce Ltd

Enquiry & Booking Process

Blackpool Bounce Ltd. may be booked online or by telephone. Online is the quickest and most convenient. We are available on the office phone any time between 8am and 10pm on 01253 808 132 for any questions you may have before booking.

We do require deposits for all hires and will also need some personal information to confirm identity and address / delivery address. We send out text reminders and confirmations, so do provide a mobile number if possible.

The Delivery Process

Your chose Bouncy Castle will be delivered according to the below times. These times are subject to change during winter periods – all our bouncy castles come with a minimum of 6 hours hire period (if not more!)

Monday - Friday,
between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Saturday, between
7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Sunday, between 8:00
a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

We ask that you sign a disclaimer, this protects both yourself and Blackpool Bounce Ltd. It ensures we’ll turn up & setup correctly & safely – it also ensures you will look after the equipment, keep it safe & clean.

Whilst you look at the disclaimer, we will use this time to check the area. If the area is unsuitable, we’ll explain why and the party equipment hire will be cancelled (See reasons why below)

After area inspection, payment & disclaimer sign – we’re ready to go! The bouncy castle is setup, secured down once you are happy with its position and any advice / training is given (don’t worry, there nothing much to do once it’s up).

What is required from you:

All Blackpool Bouncy Castle hires are delivered on a sack trolley, so at least 3 ft. clear access is required. To make this as simple as possible - as long as we can pull a full sized wheelie bin through to the location of the bouncy castle, your access is sufficient. if we are unable to do this without obstruction - your access is not sufficient and you should call us to discuss options before your event date.

Ensure paths and access to your garden are free of objects. We carry 45m extension cables, so if your power source is further than this, please let us know. Please check to ensure the area is free of objects, and clear up any animal waste that you may be in your garden.

Reasons a Bouncy Castle Hire will be declined

We occasionally do have to decline a bouncy castle hire – we don’t like to do it, but it does happen. If you have any concerns whatsoever, always call us to discuss – we’re happy to call out to your venue or property to measure up and check everything will be ok for event. Here are some top reasons why we have had to decline in the past:

Soiled Garden (Dog mess, mud, flood). –

Dog foul is our biggest issue in Bouncy Castle industry – it’s unsanitary and we’re forced to fully sanitize any equipment that has been exposed to dog foul (sanitisation costs starts at £300). We love pets and don’t mind them being at the party, just as long as they are kept off the equipment and any trace of foul is completely removed. This also applies to patches of mud and water logged gardens.

Not enough space.

Our second negative of the industry – SPACE! Please check the measurements of the equipment you’ve hired. All measurements are on our website. Remember, a 12 x 12 space does not mean you can fit a 12 x 12 bouncy castle in that space! All minimum space requirements for all bouncy castles are listed on this website (see each individual product).

Customer not present. You must be present to take delivery of the bouncy castle. It’s important that you sign our paper work and understand what is required and make payment. Staff are under instructions not to setup if the named person on the booking isn’t available.

Hard ground. Hard ground needs to be site assessed before we setup – ideally we need to be called and we’ll nip down (free of charge) and setup. If we’re told the ground is grass but when we arrive, it’s hard ground – the hire will most likely be cancelled. We just need advanced notice, this enables us to bring sandbags and extra safety mats.

Payment

We are pleased to offer a variety of payment methods, and are confident that you will find something that is convenient to your needs. We do not, however, offer credit as one of our options. This is non-negotiable.
We offer the following payment options:

  • Balance transfers/CHAPS/Bacs
    Debit/Credit Card

Bacs/ Chaps/ Balance Transfer: We must receive payment no later than 48 hours prior to the planned event date. For more information regarding this method, please contact us or ask for an invoice.

Credit / Debit Cards: We accept cards using our online payment system, it's very easy to use and no signup required.

Late Payments: If we have not received the order balance in full by the payment deadline, we will not deliver your equipment and pull the booking (this constitutes a refusal of delivery)

Please keep in mind that we do not offer credit. We must either receive your payment in full before delivery
